History

1986:   Company was founded by Joost van Neck.

1991:   Acquisition by CPL Group Ltd. (UK) and renamed H.E. Daniel(International) GmbH, after CPL had taken over the well known UK company H.E. Daniel that same year.

1997:   Joost became the sole owner of the German company, and changed its name to Axxence Aromatic GmbH. That same year the French affiliate Axxence SARL began its activity in Grasse.

2004:   Axxence Aromatic started its R&D and manufacturing activities in Bratislava, Slovakia in collaboration with Liko Bratislava a.s., the former State Research Institute for the food industry.

2006:   This relationship was formalised in the foundation of the joint venture company LiAxx Biotech s.r.o.

2009:   The Slovakian company Monoprix s.r.o. was acquired. Monoprix are reputable manufacturers of natural aroma ingredients by pure biotechnical approach.
